Performs janitorial duties through daily upkeep and care for the cleanliness of the interior and exterior of all buildings, corridors, stairs and grounds. Cleans and sets up facilities for
events as requested. Identifies and performs routine maintenance and repairs in and around the buildings, classrooms and grounds, including but not limited to minor electrical repairs such as changing light bulbs, switches and light fixtures, replacing soiled ceiling tiles, broken garbage disposals, etc. Assesses and repairs landscape irrigation system for efficient water flow and adequate water supply to support the health of the vegetation. Cares for the annual brush clearance, and cleaning of the storm drains in accordance with the city ordinances.
