Welcome to Youth Confirmation Preparation at Saint Kateri Tekakwitha. Over the course of this process, we will journey together and explore our faith by following Christ and being open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Preparing to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation is not just a catechetical program where we instill knowledge in the minds of young Catholics. It is a process where young people experience God in their lives through the signs, symbols, rituals, and Sacraments of the Church. By our Baptism, we are called to be disciples of Christ in the world. The Sacrament of Confirmation is an extension of our Baptism and First Communion, where we realize the gifts of the Holy Spirit has instilled in us and we go forth and use those gifts for the glory of God, however we may be called to that.Attendance requirements are as follows:
Year1 Year2 Attend Year 1 Sessions on 2024-2025 Calendar
(3:00 p.m.-dismisses after 5:30 mass) Calendar can be found at end of page.Attend Year 2 Sessions on 2024-2025 Calendar (3:00 p.m. - dismisses after conclusion of 5:30 mass) Calendar can be found at end of web page. Attend 7 Life Teen sessions (begins after the Sunday 5:30 mass-concludes at 8:30 p.m.) Life Night calendars can be found at end of page. Attend 7 Life Teen sessions (begins after the Sunday 5:30 mass and concludes at 8:30 mass) Complete the Go Fish project with small group.
